Productive Solutions Group has openings for Sales Representatives in Minneapolis. These are mid-level technology sales opportunities that require a proven track record of achieving goals and the ability to open new accounts. We anticipate lots of terrific applicants, but the successful candidates will have met or exceeded quota for the last several years and will be able and willing to prove it.  You understand the challenges faced by commercial enterprises in one or more of the following areas:  networking, multiple operating systems/servers/data storage, help desk, PC/desktop lifecycle management, security, data center operations and business continuity.

 

Responsibilities:

The Sales Representative’s role at Productive Solutions Group is a pure sales job.  And, one that pays extremely well for success. As a Productive Solutions Group Sales Representative, you’ll be expected to get qualified customers to buy the six solution areas where Productive Solutions Group excels: integration/consolidation/migration services, infrastructure design services, operating system services, server/storage solutions, data protection solutions and systems management.

 

The Sales Representative's role is that of a hunter - to find, qualify and develop new accounts.  To build the value, build the partnerships, build the relationships and build the differentiation that breeds business. The most successful Sales Representatives are effective listeners and problem solvers.  They understand all of our solutions, and apply them to satisfy the needs of each account. Success also requires developing strong relationships with our manufacturing partners and their local and regional representatives. We are looking for a thinker and planner capable of strategizing ways to get the job done.

 

Successful Sales Representatives also have a solid understanding of technology including a variety of hardware and software platforms. You understand the meaning of responsiveness and credibility. You have the ability to create perceived value differentiation.  You have the ability to forge repeat business through customer satisfaction.  You have the motivation to solidify our presence through consistent participation in networking organizations and events. The ability to capitalize on existing relationships is a real plus. We pay for performance and gross profit production.


Requirements:

3+ years proven sales quota achievement in technology solution sales.

Proven success at opening new accounts.

Strong sense of urgency.

Strong commitment to quality and service to our clients.

Understands solution selling.

Ability to orchestrate resources in a team-selling environment

Business acumen to understand the whole picture, works the details, and Win.

Effective listening and problem solving skills.

A Bachelors Degree is required.

Must be willing to travel as required (generally 25% or less).
